Migrating from South Africa in the early 1990s, Stan Katz threw himself into life in Australia with enthusiasm. Building businesses in the sporting, hospitality and food-service industries, he achieved his goal of business success in his new country...along the way building many successful relationships and a happy family life. Always interested in real estate, he added property to his string of achievements after meeting the directors of Bekdon Richards and finding in them a similar level of enthusiasm and energy.

"I've built and sold a number of businesses over the years and I'm proud to say that I have maintained an ongoing relationship with every one of the new owners," he says. Married for more than three decades, Stan is a committed family man and a proud father of three adult sons - now each making their own way in their chosen professions. Racquetball, golf and tennis all keep Stan active...as does keeping up with his wife, Patti, who works as a professional tennis coach. A committed volunteer, Stan is deeply involved with his community...and has recently moved to within just a few steps of the Bekdon Richards office!
