A property professional of rare energy and remarkable intuition, Tamara Matecic brings her A-Game to everything she does. Having studied Psychology at RMIT and with more than 20 years’ experience as a semi-professional sportsperson, Tamara’s career has been running on pure energetic passion and an expert understanding of her clients’ needs since 2016.
With a background in both boutique agencies and big franchised operations, Tamara has managed properties of all sizes and shapes, and clients of all persuasions and personalities. “Whether I’m dealing with first-time renters or a rental provider with a large portfolio, I take the time to create a win-win situation for all”, she says. “At the end of the day, renters and rental providers alike just want someone reliable who will do as they say and follow through with communication every step of the way”.
Tamara’s wide experience has allowed her to manage properties end-to-end, providing a wonderful grasp of all aspects required to operate a successful Rental Agency.
“While Bekdon Richards is structured with excellent administration and accounting support, in previous roles I’ve been required to deal with all the ins and outs of the management process, and this has equipped me with the ability to resolve most queries at first attempt” says Tamara. “As a dedicated problem-solver, that means I have both the individual ability and team support to achieve a value-adding result for my clients.”
As a semi-professional basketballer since her teens, Tamara’s time outside work runs on passion and energy too. Always looking for the next challenge, Tamara is committed to finding new and exciting ways to channel her energy. Most recently, that has included playing Australian Rules Football with a local team. But regardless of the sport, at work or at play, Tamara’s commitment to achieving a winning result applies. “In sport and in work, my life is structured around working with a team, being respectful of others, working towards a common goal, and achieving a desired result.”
