May Zhu | Senior Property Consultant

Widely connected at home and abroad, deeply involved in her family and her community, and passionate about property on every level, May Zhu is a property professional with a people focus. Moving to Australia from Shanghai in the early 1990s, May was lucky to have a wide experience of her new country. She moved from the inner Bayside suburbs, to outer suburbs, to rural areas as her husband completed his training as a General Practitioner, before settling into the Boroondara area to raise a family... and ultimately build a career.

It was here that May discovered her talent and passion for real estate. From an early interest in property investment, May has made property her work and her life – along the way developing local knowledge and a network of clients, buyers and friends that is second to none. A talented negotiator with a genuine love of the area. May has an intuitive understanding of the benefits that bring buyers here. Always eager to bring buyers and sellers together, she's adept at tapping into buyers’ motivations ...and working to achieve an above-expectation result for her vendors.

It is this high-achieving ethic that May has passed on to her two daughters as they complete their education at Camberwell Girls Grammar and MLC. Never one to miss an opportunity to make a friend, May’s networks extend across every aspect of her girls' lives, her husband’s medical practice and the communities she is part of in Australia and overseas. At home or abroad, in business or socially, May Zhu is driven to succeed both by her natural enthusiasm for property and her genuine interest in the people who make up the property market.
