To those who already know that part of the Bekdon Richards' name comes from the initials of one Director's family, it's no surprise that the company is a family affair. So it's also not surprising that when the company was looking for a receptionist we looked towards the families of the "family".
That's how Receptionist, Adriana Lucietto, came to be sitting at our front desk. As the mother of our Finance and Administration Manager, Olivia, Adriana was a clear and easy favourite to join the team. Straightforward, reliable and completely unflappable, Adriana is a welcoming presence at the doors of Bekdon Richards. With years of experience in Customer Service in the retail industry and time spent as a receptionist with a property-allied business, Adriana is the perfect fit with both our team and our industry.
"Real estate is such a fast-paced people-focused industry, that it's vital to be able to think on your feet, accept what comes and be prepared to get your hands dirty," says Adriana. "One of the best things about this role is the people. Whether it's over the phone or in-person, it's exciting to be help people as they make life-changing decisions....and there's nothing more exciting that matching a face to a voice as a sale or rental agreement is finalised."
With an astounding work-ethic and a genuine interest in her clients and co-workers, it seems Adriana is at home at Bekdon Richards. With her student son, Aaron, often called on to help out with projects and her husband John, always ready to give a real estate opinion around the dinner table, the whole Lucietto family has it covered. Now all Adriana needs to do is find a way to bring her beloved spoodle, Judd, and cavoodle, Murphy, onto the team!
