Itís perhaps not too much of a stretch to say that Vanessa DellíArciprete is in her Ďdreamí job. Growing up in a family of investors and developers, Vanessa always had a firm understanding of the value of property. After completing her Diploma in Business at Deakin University and taking a managing role in the hospitality industry, Vanessa applied her skill set and experience to seek a career in real-estate. It wasnít until she had a dream about opening a home for inspection that her vision fell into place and she walked straight into a role at Bekdon Richards.

Now, Vanessa's first task on most days is to open properties and welcome potential rentersÖ but thatís just the start. "Being a welcoming face at the door, matching tenants to their perfect home and handing over the keys are some of the highlights of my role,Ē says Vanessa. "But itís even more rewarding to know that a 'perfect match' adds security and value to our landlordís investment - with an appropriate and appreciative tenant who will treat the property like itís their own!"

While adept at assessing and communicating a propertyís greatest benefits, Vanessa is most proud of her ability to assess and communicate with potential renters. Confident and clear-headed, Vanessa believes there are no snap-judgmentsÖ just smart assessments. "I am always aware of the trust my clients place in me," she says. "From landlords with a single property, to our largest and most experienced investors, I know Iíve done a good job when my tenant recommendation is accepted unconditionally."

Vanessa is quick to attribute much of her property savvy to a childhood spent watching her mother and step-father buy, sell, invest and climb the property ladder. Vanessa is grateful for this solid foundation in property. "While Iíve benefitted greatly from my education at Avila College and Deakin University, it's the education in people and property that comes with being part of a hard-working, investment-focused family that has meant the most!"
